Walnut burl is a beautiful tree that symbolizes confidence and mental wisdom. The heartwood of the tree can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown wavy grains. The playing field is a combination of walnut with oak & black color points.
The mahogany veneer is very unique and each backgammon is never the same with another one. This backgammon is marquetry (also spelled as marqueterie) which is the art and craft of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to form decorative patterns and designs. Our skillful staff use this method in order to create the interior design of the backgammon.
